Creating Your LUKSO Universal Profile: A Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome to the exciting world of LUKSO, the Layer 1 Blockchain revolutionizing the Creator Economy with advanced NFT and social tool modules. As LUKSO’s ecosystem projects are poised for exponential growth, it’s the perfect time to join in. Follow our detailed guide to set up your LUKSO Universal Profile (UP) and immerse yourself in the LUKSO universe.

1. Go to https://universalprofile.cloud/.

2. Click “Create your profile”.

Note that if you haven’t installed the UP Browser extension, the site will prompt you to do so. After installation, refresh the page to proceed.

3. Follow the steps to validate your Twitter and Discord accounts.

Note: You also have the option to enable profile recovery with my.universalprofile.cloud or to have no recovery at all. Don’t worry, you can always export a backup file from the extension too!

4. Once Validated, accept the Terms and Conditions. You can Add a User Name or stay anonymous.

5. The next step is to create your Profile Address. You will notice that a pop-up will appear from your newly installed UP Browser. Click on “Join the Beta on Mainnet”.

6. Follow the next few guided steps and create a Password.

7. Once you have created your Password, you will get an option to select your address.

Select your address. Review and Create your profile.

Give the system some time to Deploy.

8. Now set up the Recovery Method.

We know it is semi-centralized, and managed by multisig, but we think setting up recovery is very important.

Add your recovery email. This will enable Magic Links to come to your email.

9. Also set up 2FA. It will help in your recovery. Connect and Add recovery by selecting your Profile.

Voila! Your profile has been created.
